Commercial Safety Systems was established in 2003. We provide a small, but vital requirement for the commercial market by keeping up to date with ever changing health and safety regulations. Our aim is to offer a reliable mobile and on-site service to cater to your companies individual needs, our sucessful achievement offers a flexible service to enable our client vehicles a safe operating environment.
Health and safety risks are increasingly reduced by avoiding incidents with commercial vehicles. Overloading, hitting high voltage power cables and reversing accidents, which can lead to prosecution and fines. We provide axle overload protection systems for LCV's and accurate weighing systems for the heavier haulage market. We also supply overhead power cable detection systems for plant and commercial vehicles, and reversing sensors, cameras and alarms for all vehicles.

CCTV

Mobile CCTV is now so advanced and can offer Mobile recording with up to 4 camera inputs, twin cameras for the tipper industry, 1 reversing and 1 viewing inside the body. Also, cameras which view the road ahead and record the journey, which counts as strong evidence in any insurance claims.

Wire-watcher

Over head power lines are soon forgotten when tippers, excavators and farming equipment are working. The costs incurred when these power lines are caught can run into thousands of pounds and the inconvenience is even more costly. This system will pay for itself the first time it reminds the driver to look up.

Weighing Systems for 7.5t to 44t

Freight Weigh

Freight weigh is an accurate weighing system designed for vehicles with air suspension.Freight weigh offers a solution to axle over loading with weight distribution displayed in percentages on front and rear axle groups. The re-chargeable handheld unit displays these percentages with the total weight shown in tonnes to the nearest 100kgs. The hand held unit allows the operator to monitor the weight that is being applied up to 30 metres away from the vehicle.

Reversing Alarms

Commercial Safety Systems supply a wide range of reverse alarms including the Brigade Electronics BBS (Broad Band Sound) alarms. We also supply Backchat which is a speaking alarm, you can select the standard caution vehicle reversing message, alternatively why not opt for a bespoke message that can mention your company name or a specific warning.
